Why is it free speech to criticize Islam or any Islamist Nation (which I have done) but Anti-Semitism to criticize the government of Israel?(Which I have also done)
 
I do enjoy taking advantage of the pro-Israel talking point to try and shutdown debate just for fun. I guess it could be that Jews are viewed primarily as an ethnic group. Also, Israel hasn't attacked the US since the USS Liberty, while Islamists attack us practically every week.

Well for many both are racist or Islamophobic or whatever. It's really only safe to criticize your own nation and ethnic/religious group these days.

Because a large number of way out there Evengelicals with some pretty wacked out views about the Rapture and End Times theology, which are some really nutty shit, consider any criticism of Israel as being opposed to their absolutely bizarre beliefs.

Careful, claiming the USS Liberty was attacked by Israel could get you accused of anti-semitism, just like claiming that the Irgun and the Stern Gang were terrorists or that they bombed the King David Hotel or massacred men women and children at Deir Yassin.
