NPR reported this afternoon that Kentucky girls to wed at age 16 in some cases, and even younger if they're pregnant.


If two children are in love, wouldn't this be perverse incentive to get her pregnant, so that they could receive the benefits of holy matrimony? Which they'd be denied if she's not pregnant, according to this law?
