Companies added way more jobs than expected in December:

An economy on the rise isn’t based on what the economy was eight years prior. An economy going from 2.9% gdp to 1.6% gdp isn’t an economy on the rise.

It doesn’t matter who the President is.

Sure it does, did you think all the economic indicators were reset to zero when a new Administrarion assumes office?

Following tends over the seven years prior to Trump taking office show an economy advancing, slowly, but gradually improving from the depths of the Great Recession. That is a fact you can't deny, when Trump assumed power the economy was tanking

Hate to even think where we would be if Trump had been elected in 2008 and had to deal with the economic disaster Obama confronted

You're making this a partisan issue when the numbers are the numbers regardless of who is in office. Going from 2.9% to 1.6% isn't a recession but 1.6% gdp while technically above zero, so growing, isn't what we would consider a true growing economy.

ya I get it. fake news will never credit Trump's deregulation and tax cuts.

Trump's tax cuts have exploded the deficit and led to a market loss.

Obama never got 3% GDP

Lie.

Obama exceeded 3% GDP growth in several quarters.

And he didn't explode the deficit to do it.

and actually lost manufacturing jobs..kina hard to see how this is any "extension"of that

Lost manufacturing jobs? So you're counting the job loss during the recession that started with Bush.

hina has to settle, it's GDP rate is getting smaller and it uses that to pay for '1 belt 1 road'

China isn't going to do shit to help Trump.

Yes it is you fucking idiot because it's positive growth.

Wow.

You're such a fucking fraud that you have to shift goalposts and establish standards just so you don't have to admit you're full of shit.

And from your own article;

"Manufacturing and housing numbers have been contracting, and even consumer and business confidence, which had been around record highs earlier in the year, have been waning in recent months. Earlier Thursday, the Mortgage Bankers Association reported that applications for home loans hit their lowest level in 18 years."

"And even the jobs numbers are not all good: Challenger, Gray & Christmas also reported Thursday that planned layoffs in December rose 35.3 percent to 43,884. For 2018, announced layoffs rose by 538,659, a 28.6 percent increase that was the biggest rise since 2015."

As the article concludes, "uncertainly" reigns in the economy as reflected by the Market swings

And before you go boasting MAGA, the reality, as reflected in the majority of relevant polls and the midterm results, is that Americans astutely view the positive signs in the economy as happening in spite of Trump and not because of Trump.

You read it here!

Growing isn't growing.

Up is down.

Black is white.

Words don't mean what they mean anymore because cawacko has to protect his ego.

And 1.6% is NOT 2.9%.

. . . which means, LV426, it is diminishing growth.

And I know if I research your posts you will jump on Obama's economy for diminishing growth.

I remember well when you freaks complained about these type of numbers when Obama was president.

Thank you. We all know even 0.1% GDP growth is still growth but because partisanship is such a mindfvck it's too hard to acknowledge 2.9% to 1.6% is diminishing growth as you say. (and i'm not saying this from a pro-Trump perspective, the numbers are what they are)

Just as you "freaks" were complaining about the economy when it was getting 3%+ growth under Bush which Obama never achieved. Partisans are hypocrites Jarod. We see it in action in the real world and on this board every day. Those who are truly able to stick to their principles are few and far between in this game.
