Comey Says Trump Told Him 'I Need Loyalty' at a Private Dinner

Maybe not the same thing, but I bet liberals don't remember Obama asking the then Director who side he was on. Well, it was rumored he did it twice and to liberals, that should mean it is fact, right?

So that's why Comey was fired, for not pledging loyalty to Trump?!!

1) Trump has the right to ask his staff for loyalty.
2) Trump can fire any staff he wants, any time he wants and for any reason he wants. EVERY FORMER PRESIDENT HAS.

He then said, "I need loyalty." I replied, "You will always get honesty from me." He paused and then said, "That's what I want, honest loyalty." I paused, and then said, "You will get that from me."
...

The left is losing it over this also. If it was so improper for Trump to ask Comey this, Comey would have said something right then or at least reported it. But, he didn't.......just like he didn't report the Flynn issue either.

all they have left is frothing

tarmac was more.
It had the husband of a person under investigation directly trying to influence the person under investigation.

Conspiracy would say Lynch and Clinton concocted it -for plausible deniability for Lynch

I'm literally laughing. Out loud.

That is such partisan hackery. Tarmac was LESS, by any standard.

Not that I have an opinion on the matter, but is anyone surprised Thingy took this stance?

And he has the gall to other hacks.

:palm:

Anything that looks bad for the left, Thingy immediately jumps up and defends. And yet he calls others hacks.

And again - you show your hackery.

No one has any idea what happened on the tarmac. We know what happened at the Comey dinner.

It's hilarious that, once again, you think they're equal. Or agree that the tarmac is "worse."

No self-awareness. Such a pure rightie hack.

The FBI oath of office asks for loyalty to the Constitution, not the president.

"I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

I like the Ari Fliesher tweet. Paraphrasing he said Trump was in the wrong (I agree) and he mentioned Eric Holder saying he was Obama's wingman and the media having little to no issue with it.

Now this isn't a defense of Trump, his behavior isn't defensible but since we so regularly focus on who or who isn't a hypocrite was Holder's comment ok?
