Comey released the Hillary story to protect the agency. If Hill won and then the story came out and was true, the rightys would have roared about Comey helping her. As it turned out, the emails were not new and there was noting there. But he helped trump. Now we know he should have said nothing or added that they had an investigation of Trump going on at the same time. But Comeys actions are justified by trying to keep the FBI out of the story.

You mean, when Comey the LIAR still thought Hillary might win? A purely political calculation rather than dealing with the legal consequences. Dunce.

Comey is well known as a truth teller and a respectable public servant. Opposite of trump. But to protect Trump, the right will savage Comey from now until his last days.
