Comey has spoken....

I mean - we can only imagine if Hillary had won, and there was a hearing like this where the FBI Director she fired detailed the litany of lies & inappropriate conduct that we heard about Trump yesterday.

GOP majority in Congress? Yeah - there would be impeachment threads, for sure....

so now you're nostrdamus?

don't you have homework to do

It's inappropriate to ask your FBI director to publicly state you're not a subject of investigation? It's such a simple request.

In which universe would that be deemed 'inappropriate'? Do you think Madame Hillary would have allowed Comey to keep his job under similar circumstances?

Hillary's lies were systemic and used to cover her ass.
Comey's saying Trump lied about the disintegration of the FBI moral may or may not have been a lie -
but it was asid as a matter of opinion by Trump

They'll have no use for that distinction.

Comey had to know not going public with 'Trump isn't under investigation' was going to put his job on thin ice. Trump could fire him for anything, literally.

Why wouldn't he do it?

Comey had the time to construct his narrative -you can be sure he's hopping mad Trump fired him
So ANYTHING he says needs to be seen thru the filter of his revenge.

Unfortunately his Boy Scout "aw shucks folks" person is lapped up by even politicians who should know another political operative when they see one

Comey was way past his expiration date.
I'm sure when Trump said that stuff about Flynn,he knew he had a way to get back at Trump if Trump threatened his job.
But Trump just did it -and Comey released the memo for revenge.'

Yesterday was Comey's Revenge - not a Boy Scout

The beauty of yesterdays Comey show was that now everyone sees Comey for what he is.
The man is a weasel, an admitted coward when faced with any type of pressure, loose lips,

Trump demanded loyalty and Comey ran to his binder to make note of it.

And most damaging was with all of the leaking to the press going on with sensitive information not meant for public consumption, we find out the FBI director is one of the leakers.
it simply became apparent early on that he was not fit for such a high position, and cudos to Trump for putting country ahead of any possible misconception of corruption as to why he had to fire this clown.

The beginning of the end for this witch hunt
good day for Trump

I have to laugh at your notion that it was a good day for Orangetweet. The WH is breathing a sigh of relief that it was only a bad day and not a disasterous day. Trump's agenda, if the incompetentvliar ever had one, is in peril. He, and his party, are going to be wrapped up in this shit for quite awhile. That's just as well for America, though.

The other laughable part? Trump will go on about how he was "vindicated" (damn, that's funny!) and not an object of any investigation. After this, one can use the past tense on that.

The public impression that Trump was being criminally investigated, amplified by the president’s critics in the media, was effectively Comey’s get-out-of-jail-free card. The former FBI director likely assumed that no president would be crazy enough to fire a man whom the public believed to be investigating the president. Only a madman would fire that guy, right? Everyone in Washington knows how this game is played. They all know the tune by heart.

Unfortunately for Comey, Trump had no intention of playing that game and dancing that dance. What really happened is that Trump was wise to Comey’s con and finally had enough of it. He figured out what Comey was doing — deliberately refusing to correct a factually inaccurate impression of the FBI’s ongoing investigation as a means of protecting his job — and called his bluff.

Comey’s own words reveal in lurid detail the game he was playing. They reveal that Trump’s claims about the investigation, and his claims about Comey’s characterization of the investigation, were completely accurate. They reveal that Comey was giving one impression to the president and Congress in private and deliberately allowing an entirely different one to gain currency in public. Comey’s mistake wasn’t in thinking the Beltway two-step was the best way to keep his job. His mistake was assuming that Trump wouldn’t dare to stop dancing.

Trump

he was more worried about the Russian money laundering

he will go down for that too

he feared HE was the target of this for good reason

Today fired former FBI Director James Comey stated that he leaked data to a Columbia University friend who in turn provided the leaked information to the New York Times. Comey did this even though he stated under oath in the past that he never leaked information to the press.
The current updated analysis of the most recent list of so-called ‘leaks’ being reported and repeated by the liberal mainstream media (MSM) involving President Trump includes at least 38 leaks in total.
Many of these ‘leaks’ are now proven fabrications and the probability that many remaining ‘leaks’ are completely inaccurate is very high.

The leaks are all being reported by biased liberal media outlets that were adamantly opposed to the election of President Trump.

These ‘leaks’ in all cases still are not supported with any names of so-called sources and in all cases the ‘leaks’ are meant to destroy the current President.

After today’s testimony it is important to note that Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly made statements that were revealed in the liberal media as ‘leaks’. Comey admitted at least one leak today.
Of the 38 leaks listed below, nine are related to James Comey.

it is all information that is unclassified and he was set to testify about already

what is this claimed crime asshole

You always think the libs lost. You think the libs lost when there are exclamation points, and when there aren't. You think Trump is following a genius plan, and that he set Ryan up w/ healthcare so he could get him ousted. You think Trump has a bold & exciting style of leadership.

You think a lot of weird, wrong things. But more power to ya.

it's objective. you lost. chris matthews of msnbc basically said as much. lost lost lost. not even close to being debatable.

the difference is this is smoke and mirrors and deep state lies. Hillary actually committed crimes. You are believing fake media colluding news.

I only hope that when this staged obstruction of justice is done that the real traitors: barack, the Clintons, barack's DOJ, CIA, FBI and all the slimy swamp creatures which are exposed as the deep state subversive army of barack will be justly tried and quickly executed. they ALL deserve the death sentence; I am not using hyperbole or exaggeration. kill 'em all. if they are allowed to live; damned is the usa. not kidding one bit. they are the most dangerous anti constitutional revolutionaries ever in the history of the us gov. , and every year they continue; along with their [subversive] us gov. brainwashing army, there are millions of dupes being recruited into their ranks. I have had to watch this shit for the whole time since the hybridized supertraitor rode in to the world stage as a conqueror on a white horse and I have been trumpeting the alarm since then. the testimony is still true. I do not expect the traitors to be stopped...

yea, trump is just to smart.... He needs to be smart for about a year to year & a half, & then maybe he can start to pretend to be precedential..

Only one thing mattered yesterday, the rest will be forgotten in two weeks.

Comey didn't cluck and lay The Golden Egg of Impeachment. I predicted the obstruction charge was the left's last best hope for impeachment---and it is, and it didn't happen. And I predicted Comey would smear Trump but come short of claiming obstruction.

Maybe I should make predictions more often lol. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether the liberal/media collusion complex will continue to climb out the limb on a discredited conspiracy theory.

Chris Matthews backed away from it but it otherwise remains to be seen.

I hope the left keep pushing this agenda; because the more they continue lying about this, the more people are going to recognize the left for what they truly are.
While they may not vote with the right; it may just give a groundswell to a third party, that might actually begin to represent the people of America.
