Comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked during a show in Los Angeles Tuesday night after a man reportedly jumped on stage. The alleged attacker was injured in the attack and was carried away in an ambulance, according to reports.

Videos of the incident appear to show the man jumping onto the stage at the Hollywood Bowl, where Chappelle was performing his standup routine for his Netflix Is A Joke tour, when he attempted to tackle the comedian.

He was swiftly taken away by security and other individuals, who appeared to repeatedly hit the man just off-stage, videos appear to show.

Immediately following the attack, Chappelle remained on stage and thanked security, before joking about the incident and describing the individual who attacked him as a "trans man."

Chappelle makes several jokes about the trans community in his standup routine and even boasted during Tuesday night’s performance that he has been recently forced to increase his security amid new threats.

I have been impressed with the fact the I am increasingly attracted to the humor of folks like Chappelle and Chris Rock.

As they observe idiocy, though, it seems the idiots are offended, angered and reactionary.

We see that it HAS happened, but when did the "Progressives" of the US join the Communists and Nazies as opponents of Free Speech?
 
Chappelle I watched a Chappelle where he discussed a trans person he was friends with that committed suicide. Chappelle seems angered by the lose of his friend and the pressures that caused it. People that are angered by Chappelle's jokes don't get the point of the jokes.

Nutjobs don’t need reasons. They all have excuses, but not “reason”.

It’s akin to the WSEs blowing up a Daycare center; their excuse is to attack the Federal government but they’re obviously as insane as rabid dogs and should be treated as such.

I don't recall which British comedian made this observation, but it did seem humorous to me. A British accent makes all comments seem to be more thoughtful.

He noted that all women needed to be less offended if confronted by the penis of another woman whether in a changing room or a public rest room.

This was some years back.

personally I thought it curious the first person on stage after was Chris Rock......makes me wonder if Jusse Smollet was there as well.....
 
Dave Chappelle, like most modern standups, isn't the slightest bit funny to me.

Comedy is pretty much in a coma right now from what I can see.
