Collusion In One Tweet

Are you really as stupid as you sound?

I am not as stupid as YOU sound......since no crime was involved, he could not be charged with conspiracy.....conspiracy itself is not a crime....a person can engage in a conspiracy to commit a crime, for example a conspiracy to commit murder or a conspiracy to rob a bank.......but there is no such thing as a crime of conspiracy without a targeted illegal activity.......no "illegal stuff" was offered....... he was offered evidence that Hilliary had engaged in campaign violations........evidence that Hilliary engaged in campaign violations is not "illegal stuff".....

He was offered illegal information...that was both a campaign finance law breach...and possibly stolen info...and KNEW that at the very least that he was getting info from a foreign government...a CRIME...and gladly accepted a meeting to take possession of that information.

THAT is conspiracy my idiot friend

Nothing in the Donnie Jr e-mails talks about "illegal activity" being offered by THE RUSSIAN FUCKING GOVERNMENT. It talks about DIRT

And in either case that would be illegal

and

it isn't against the law to get information from a foreign government

Yes...it is if it's stolen and if it's used for election purposes

/sigh.......child you have yourself so twisted up in your own fantasies that you can't even make a logical statement any more.......nothing was stolen because no evidence was presented.........nothing was used for election purposes because there was nothing to use.......no information came from a foreign government because there wasn't any information........nothing was illegal because there were no laws violated.......you cannot be held criminally responsible for attempting to do something which does not violate the law........you cannot be held criminally responsible for violating a lib'ruls fantasy........

Sorry you condescending moron...e-mails were stolen. Regardless of what was "presented" information was OFFERED..and that alone is illegal...when presented by a foreign government...which this was.

And the only reason you can even claim that nothing was exchanged...is because Trump and a Russian spy are making that claim.

you cannot be held criminally responsible for attempting to do something which does not violate the law.

But you CAN be held criminally responsible for attempting to do something which is a crime...and this was

At issue is a federal statute stipulating that foreign nationals cannot contribute to political campaigns. That law, though, doesn’t just bar cash donations.

“The statute’s written very, very broadly,” said Bob Bauer, a former White House counsel under Barack Obama who now teaches at New York University Law School. “It applies to promises of support — promises express or implied. It applies to independent expenditures, meaning those with express advocacy. It applies to any expenditure, meaning those that may not be express advocacy expenditures but are for the purpose of influencing the federal election. It applies to disbursements. It is extremely broad.”

The law was first passed in 1966. It was strengthened in 1974 and, under the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law, in 2002. It bars any contribution, even a small-donor contribution, from a noncitizen and puts strict limits on the involvement of foreign individuals or organizations. Further, and importantly, the law prohibits any American from aiding any of the above efforts. We noted last week that “collusion” can be another word for “conspiracy,” and that those aiding a Russian effort to provide illegal assistance or soliciting that assistance could be held criminally liable.

and yet, it wasn't......sorry.....you've built a house of cards but there is no table......

I understand that you refuse to acknowledge reality.

The fact remains...it is illegal to accept foreign ANYTHING in order to further election chances.

And taking that meeting was an ATTEMPT to accept...in other words conspiracy.

I can only imagine how Trump's lawyers react to this stuff. He says the exact things they have doubtless told him to be careful to avoid saying. Here, he basically admitted to a conspiracy to violate campaign finance laws. Earlier, he admitted to obstruction of justice (firing Comey for "the Russia thing"). I think what he's counting on is that the Republicans lack the respect for our nation that they'd need to have to hold him accountable. And I think he gets off on rubbing their noses in it. There's got to be a certain sense of power in admitting to such crimes, and knowing he's made the GOP entirely his bitch, so they'll continue to run cover for him.

How do you propose to prove that the information was stolen lol?

We shall see what information was offered and what was accepted in that meeting...and whether there were other meetings.

But there is no doubt that Russians stole...yes STOLE DNC e-mails.

But again...it doesn't matter whether stolen e-mails were the subject of this particular meeting. The meting itself was set up to RECEIVE help from a foreign government...which is an illegal act.

Kind of like what Hillary got lol.

Why are the rules always different for Hillary?

Kinda not...at all.

But hey...if Hillary did something illegal...fine. Prosecute her.

That has ZERO to do with what Trump admitted to....nor is that absolution for what he admitted to

As pointed out previously, that would make the Dossier a criminal document and poison Mullet’s little escapade.

And I’m certain you want none of that lol.
