Collin County grand jury indicts Karmelo Anthony for first-degree murder in Frisco stabbing

hey retardo. you can come back in 20 years if It turns out my opinion was wrong

that is how lame and boring this thread and your exception of my statements are.
Hey moron I live about 15 miles from where this MURDER occurred. I understand how the legal system in Texas works. My wife is a court reporter. This kid will go away for 10-15 years. He might go away for more because it is a national case and DAs sometimes want to make a national reputation. The kid has no priors so maybe the jury will go easy on him if he doesn't plead out.

Yes there was premeditation the moment he retrieved the knife out of his bag.
Premeditation was the moment he put the knife in that bag... This is just so heartbreaking any way that you look at it... I've been to hundreds of athletic events and I just can't even imagine something like this happening...

Collin County grand jury indicts Karmelo Anthony for first-degree murder in Frisco stabbing

Start the trial!
He was indicted for 1st Degree murder.
This doesn't make sense due the fact Texas doesn't have a "first degree murder" charge. Additionally, I fail to see how this rises above a murder charge, commonly referred to as second-degree murder in other states. So far evidence only appears to support a murder charge.

What is capital murder in Texas?” The term capital murder is used in place of first-degree murder in Texas. Capital murder is a charge reserved for murders considered particularly severe. A person can be charged with capital murder for committing murder with any of the following aggravating factors:
  • The victim was a fireman or peace officer
  • The act was committed during another felony act such as burglary, sexual assault, robbery, or kidnapping
  • The act was committed in retaliation
  • The victim was under age 10
    • Who was serving a life sentence
    • Against an employee of the penal institution
    • And was gang related
    • During an escape attempt from a penal institution
  • More than one victim was murdered during the same act
  • More than one victim was murdered in separate acts but during a similar pattern of behavior

imagine being so fucking dumb you think carrying a weapon for self defense means premeditation of murder

It wasn't very smart to carry that weapon was it? Especially in doubtful bag add a track meet... Where it would be highly unlikely that you would need anything to defend yourself for any reason..... Possibly not murder but premeditation to cause harm to someone at some point.... Kids talk about.
Messen up somebody a famous... And apparently worth it took was a few words... This is such a tragedy...

carrying weapons on school grounds was not a good decision

Overview of Texas First Degree Murder Laws

Texas does not officially use the term "first degree murder" which can sometimes be a little bit confusing. Instead, the equivalent in Texas is known as "capital murder," which is murder for which a perpetrator can get a sentence of capital punishment. To convict a defendant of capital murder, prosecutors must be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that:

  • The defendant intentionally and knowingly caused the death of another person; THE POS DID JUST THAT
  • The defendant intended to cause serious bodily injury and committed an act that was clearly dangerous to human life and this act caused the death of an individual...THE POS DID JUST THAT

He was disrespected so he took a life and he should have to pay for his crime....today's youth, but especially black teens; just don't know how to walk away, put the ego aside and stay alive. The most fragile thing negro men carry around are their ego's and too many die as a result. Our schools, should have classes on how to SOLVE CONFLICTS AND STAY ALIVE 101 There is no shame to walk away. Now a child is dead, another child is going to prison...ALL OVER A DAMN SEAT UNDER A FUCKIN TENT.
