College republican, libertarian, porn star & political activist..

Speaking as an network engineer who worked building networks at T-Mobile for 13 years, I can say that you are absolutely right. I achieved a CCNP qualification which has now lapsed, only a fool would say building enterprise networks is easy.

of course. it's simply a matter of elitism to suggest that some other career field is so simple that a high school graduate could do it when comparing it to 'your' specialty........but alot of lefties and righties do that when trying to spar with intelligent Libertarians.

I seriously doubt he earns 1/5 of that (he's small time) but if he did I'd still be way ahead. Way.
Computer literacy is obviously not needed in my field.

then that really begs the question of how stupid you are, but computer literacy should be obviously needed if you are spending that kind of money on a deskside support person

Of course now the first thing I do when I have a computer problem is turn it off and on.
But seriously, I absolutely hate fooling with computers. Most would hate what I do, I happen to love it. I've practically got a license to print money although it wasn't always that way. It takes time to build a business, especially one where good employees make money for you.
Ya just gotta find what you love, go with it, and the money will follow.

I once called my computer guy to come to my office to fix my computer. He turned it off and back on and it was fixed. Cost me $150. But at least it was fixed.
:truestory:

He's honest though. Whenever I call him to fix my computer first thing he asks is if I turned it off, then on.
I'm getting more tech savvy though. It's called 'rebooting'.

:awesome: All the office hygienists/techs have hope for you now.:D

Wow... Life is tough up there in the frozen north...lol
