What makes that clear about the NY attorneys and what makes Levin correct? We know he is a partisan hack by listening to his radio show or subbing for Rush Limbaugh.

The FEC website has all the campaign finance regulations. Maybe somebody can post a link to the relevant provisions.

As it is, the Trump supporters are claiming it is not a violation and the Trump haters think it is--not exactly unbiased opinions.

I'm not talking about strippers. You posted that a candidate only has to report campaign contributions and not spending--that is total hogwash. Detailed spending reports are required.

ONLY IF THEY ARE CAMPAIGN RELATED! Good lord, you give new meaning to the word DENSE!

Trying to argue that the Stormy incident was campaign related and attempting to influence an election is about as moronic as claiming the Russians got Trump elected.

he has to report expenditures of campaign contributions........he doesn't have to report expenditures of his own funds for non campaign purposes........can't get any simpler than that......

Read carefully. We were not talking about (only) Stormy. I said campaign expenditures must be reported and you said something like "....are you aware only campaign contributions have to be reported and not spending."

At least you are now admitting candidates must report expenditures.

Whether this applies to Stormy and McDougal are unsettled issues.
