Are you sure? Cause I'm not convinced, and no investigation into the extent of the hack was ever concluded. Russia was able to gain access to voter rolls and vote databases, so they most certainly had the capacity to affect the election outcome, and probably did.

Look how easy it was for Russia to convince a MAGAt to shoot upa DC Pizza Parlor because of the propaganda, spread by Russia, that Clinton was running a pedophile ring out of the shop's non-existent basement.
So since you fucking MAGAts were so easily swayed by that propaganda, why wouldn't you have also been swayed to vote against Clinton because of the propaganda that convinced you Pizzagate was real?

Nobody should be denying that there is an allout effort being made to destroy Trump and/or his presidency. The means being used are only subject to the approval of the American people.
The law has become of little importance since Trump became president. Now he will have to live with it. The politial spin is all that is important, If Trump can spin it all in his favour then he will come out fine. But I don't think the Republican congress majority are going to help him spin it and so the polilcial spin will go against him.
I think we can now honestly say that both political parties want Trump gone. Handling their mission in a way that won't do much harm to the Republican party is the mission that needs to be decided upon. Trump won't go with a bang because it's not Mueller or the FBI's goal to hurt the R party. He'll go with a whimper and the outward appearance that it was his decision. It's necessary to save your country!
Comey is already stating it very accurately and he's talking on behalf of the FBI.

I think the OP is using the wrong precedent of Bill Clinton's impeachment for lying to congress to protect his marriage for her argument here today!
When she should be using the precedents established during the John Edwards campaign of 2008 where he tried to pay off someone he had sexual affairs with in order to cover it up to help himself get elected!
This is not about the affairs of a president in office, but the affairs of those who are running for office, and use money to hush witnesses, and hide facts that help them win elections.
We didn't allow John Edwards to get by with that- and we should not allow Donald Trump to get by with that either

Your political bias is talking over your common sense in my opinion. And saying they're going down with the sinking ship sort of proves it. The only truth in that is that Trump is the sinking ship and the Republicans in congress are about to be understanding that saving their own asses is what's important. And as well, saving their party. That's all that makes any sense after you have come to accept that Trump is toast.
Trump isn't toast until the Republicans decide. There's every indication that they will have to make that decision soon. A primary challenge to Trump will split the party down the middle and so I suspect that will be avoided and the only way to do that is to convince Trump to step down from the presidency on 2020.
How much lead time will be required is the interesting question? I'm trying to imagine how it can all be engineered. It's the basis of a good discusison!

If I had a horse in the race I would be hoping they would too, as well as the Dems, because the US is a huge danger to world peace and something new instead of the two major parties are likely the best hope of stopping the rush to another world war.
At best the two parties will lose relevance together and another Bernie movement will be started. I have to suspect that the people screeching to the moon on this gongshow clusterfuk don't represent reality in the land of the gun.

it wasn't precedent ( ruling) it was a trial. Yes it's an indicator though that Edwards was over-charged.
