‘Code Pink’ protesters leave Barney Frank seeing red

U.S. Rep. Barney Frank went after “Code Pink” protesters during a congressional hearing yesterday, telling the pink-clad activists to “act your age” and “grow up.”
Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, interrupted Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner during his testimony to upbraid the sign-waving lefty protesters, seated just a few rows behind government witnesses.
“Will you please act your age?” snapped Frank, a Newton Democrat. “If you have no greater powers of concentration, then you leave the room. We’re trying to have a serious discussion. . . . We really need people to grow up.”
Later, when Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke was testifying, Frank interrupted again to criticize the protesters, who were wearing pink life-vests and holding signs reading “Where’s my job?” and “Where’s my pension?”
“I understand that there are some people for whom rational discussion is not an appropriate means of expressing themselves,” Frank said, threatening to evict anyone who waved a sign again.
“I do not know how you think you could advance any cause to which you might be attached by this kind of silliness,” he said.
Yesterday’s confrontation was just the latest scrap between committee members and the “Code Pink” protesters, who describe themselves as female peace and social activists, though one of them was a male yesterday. Their signs were confiscated last week during an AIG hearing.
“He was a grump blossom,” Gael Murphy, one of the Code Pink protesters, said of Frank.
“He was in a grumpy mood all day,” said Murphy, insisting she didn’t know why Frank criticized them during the televised hearing.

LOL
“He was in a grumpy mood all day,”
Barney must not have gotten any the night before from his latest boy toy.
I like seeing libtards turn on one another
