Masks are just generally good practice. Why do you think civilized people cover their mouths when they sneeze and cough? That said, most people don't like to wear masks. Some of them even have intelligent reasons. The pandemic is ongoing. Smart, considerate people take precautions. Fauci just said this week that the CDC needs to reevaluate its masking guidelines. So that's that.

If you can't understand masks, I surely will not be able to explain climate change to you. Perhaps you have a local college that offers introductory courses. Perhaps you have a local library that offers introductory books. Someone who calls links between pollution and climate "unproven" and "unscientific" is not a serious participant in the conversation. So that's that.
