CNN has fake headlines about NFL

Now I see why there are so many fights in a lot of forums. Some just don't have a grasp of the English language and elementary school grammar.

The teacher should demand that those kids to do their homework.
I am demanding that those kids to do their homework.

"Demanding" just means insistent or authoritative.

He tweeted "fire or suspend!" basically as a command, and encouraged a boycott if the owners did not. It's a hairsplit to claim that isn't "demanding."

No -- CNN lied and you are a media shill for defending them. THINK, america-hater.

Where did you get "commands"?

LOL I think it's from where you wrote that Trumps tweet was basically a command.
CNN has indeed been pushing the narrative that Trump is demanding. I watched the video of the idiot and he didn't really call for anyone to be fired directly, but did his little hypothetical "wouldn't it be..."

On the subject of the flag and the anthem the NFL says "should". I don't interpret that as anything and certainly not something for which they could win a court case should they decide to punish anyone for and quote that "should" rule as grounds for it. IOW, it's just a suggestion. Nothing more. On the subject of lil' donnie demanding retribution he only wants the "sons of bitches" fired. That sounds pretty authoritative to me coming from his office. Doesn't he have more important issues to bide his time with? Howz the lil' rocket man doing? How are the Puerto Ricans, American citizens, faring after their double whammy of the hurricane season? I could give you a hundred things that he "should" be doing but instead he spends his time creating more enemies for himself. But, he is throwing red meat to his rabid dog political base. I strongly encourage him to keep it up or even get more loud and obnoxious. I only hope that our congress can catch it quick enough to do something about his senselessness and consequently save our democracy.

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It's a stretch to claim that is is, but you knew that. You're hysterical over this. Really.

It's hilarious to hear a Trump-hating liberal claim that they find anything Trump says "authoritative". Truly.

Thanks for the laugh at your expense.

You lie. But then you are a lefty so you think EVERYONE has to have your interpretation of things. Here are the rules from the NFL on the National Anthem. How do you interpret them? Are the players complying with the rules?

The NFL rules on the National Anthem can be found on pages A62-63 of the NFLs game operations manual:

The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem.
During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.

Funny. Little Thing thinks he can stretch what Trump said to to mean he "demanded" something but fails to apply the same flexibility to the NFL rulebook.

I wish you wouldn't speak to me at all, gba. You ban me from all of your threads and if I irritated you so much in those it seems to me that you would abide your own feelings and avoid me on the open board as well. But, I can understand if you just can't resist. You've proven yourself a mental midget and weaker than most repeatedly. Carry on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Consumers can make a businesses' policies their business by voting with their wallets. Maybe you heard that somewhere, or didn't you get that far in school?

I wish you wouldn't speak to me at all

Your wishes aren't binding on me, little snowflake.

I enjoy pointing out your stupidity, and I will continue as long as you persist in stupidity.

You have three choices.

1. Stop being stupid and posting stupid things.

2. Leave the forum.

3. Ignore me because you know I'm right and you can't debate your way out of a paper bag.

I'm OK with any of those options.
