A friend of mine hung out with Snoop awhile in the middle of the Nevada desert. Snoop was supposed to blow something up but there were all kinds of glitches that held it all up.

IIRC someone paid him to come out to the desert and blow something up as part of the launch of something or the other so it was an easy appearance. I think they were supposed to stream it online when it happened but that became part of the glitch as well. My friend told him that is was no weirder than that someone paid to fly him to Vegas to watch him blow something up though he was sure Snoop's paycheck had a lot more digits than his. Friend is a writer who used to work for some online men's lifestyle site that had him doing odd things when companies wanted to promote crap and would pick up the tab in exchange for online coverage (i.e. good reviews/press *cough cough*). Got flown to Paris for movie review; got flown to somewhere in the UK to review a new line of scotch; got flown somewhere or the other to try out some new car on a race track.
