Last summer, a former Israeli defense official said that “the Israeli military used cluster bombs for two weeks during the 2006 Lebanon war without telling the Israeli government.” At the time, the UN decried the use of the bombs as “completely immoral.”

Any nation that uses cluster bombs should immediately be placed on the list of nations that we do not support, we boycott, and that we refuse to deal with at all.
 
No, no one will do anything. The United States has blocked the Security Council's attempt to demand Israel withdraw. And the U.S media and our politicians in both parties have gotten their marching orders and crawl around the television and the newspapers whining "buttt what if Canada lobbed missiles into herreeeeeeee".

And not one "journalist" ever has the fucking balls to ask "but what if Canada continued to build illegal settlements in fucking Seattle, blockaded our borders, creating shortages of food and medicine and even water, and denied our citizens the right to even go to work, wtf do you think the US might do then, huh?"

And never will you hear that question. And I don't know why. And I don't know how the Jewish lobby became this powerful in this country, but they are the new nazis. And you conform, or you lose your job, your reputation, and it is spread around that you are that worst of all creatures; the anti-semite.

And the entire United States Media, and our elected officials are on their knees for it, and they stay there. Because that's what a handful of Jewish fanatics, have told them to do.
 
So far all we have is a rumor that they used cluster bombs, no detail on the actual area bombed, and a lot of Liberals judging. :)

And if they didn't use them, I apologize for my words.

But Israel is one of the 15 countries who have used cluster bombs in the past. No real reason to assume they have stopped using them. And they have refused to participate in the Oslo accord to ban them.

So in other words; you'll wait for "proof' (evidence need not apply) that Israel is using cluster bombs, at which time you'll tell us that they have every right to be using them?

This thread is not about whether they can defend themselves.

This is about the use of an insidious weapon that leaves explosives scattered all over the ground. This is about dropping what amount to small landmines into areas inhabited by women and children.

Yep, they had not even gotten all the cluster munitions cleaned up from last time.
