Hillary Clinton blamed her presidential election loss to Donald Trump on FBI Director James Comey 's letter to Congress and Vladimir Putin's "attack against our country," The New York Times reported.

On Thursday night, the former Democratic presidential nominee spoke in Manhattan to a group of campaign donors. She said the two events cost her close races in several key battleground states, according to audio obtained by the Times.

Two sources in the room confirmed the contents of the audio to NBC News.

Clinton said Comey's renewed questions regarding her emails changed swing-state voters decisions. She also said the Kremlin wanted to "undermine our democracy" by hacking Democrats, the Times reported.

"Putin publicly blamed me for the outpouring of outrage by his own people, and that is the direct line between what he said back then and what he did in this election,"
Clinton said, according to the Times.

It's never her fault.
The state dept Classified briefings, the server, her inability to read classified markings, her secret wall st speeches she promised to release...
"Putin/Comey did it" -she blames her staff..Being a Clinton is never having to say you screwed up.

The Putin blamegame goes back to 2007 Duma elections..Putin is that upset 9 years from then?

Didn't you start a thread like this yesterday?

Sorry that it's tough for you to deal with. What Comey did is inexcusable & broke w/ decades of FBI tradition. What Russia did is something you & righties should be infinitely more concerned about, and shouldn't dismiss & marginalize as you are.

Stop being such a hack. Like I said - I get it. You didn't want Hillary. But time to acknowledge some realities about this election.

years of tradition? If he had said nothing, and there were more compromised info on the NEWLY FOUND CLINTON Emails -he would have been guilty
of not informing the electorate.
How about blaming Huma for Weiner's laptop? -or better yet Hillary for using only a private server..*no it can't ever be her fault*

Putin hacked commercial servers -nothing classified. Podesta reportedtly had a 123 type password ( source Wikileaks).
The FBI repeatedly called the DNC -calls were ignored. That was the extent of the hacking.

Clinton's emails were not published by WIKI ( although probable hacked by Putin and world intel services because of her crappy anti-malware.

That's it. and that Stole the election? WIKILEAKS showed a campaign staff in confusion/ a corrupted DNC. That's it.
Clinton never campaigned in Michigan, and lost by 10,,000 votes - there's the blame -on her.

Comey was under no obligation to inform Congress of anything. The FBI's tradition has been to not comment on existing investigations less than 60 days outside of an election - for reasons that are now very obvious to everyone.

yeah like she is a fuck up and lost because she did not want to move the country forward

And yet you refuse to acknowledge that it was Hillary herself that was to blame.

You even admitted after a week Comey wasn't a factor or much of one, you guys didn't say much about Putin until she lost. If and a big if, Putin was involved it showed how corrupt Hillary and the dnc are and you don't have any outrage over that.

Yet you have never complained about him saying information that was positive about her, lol.

She's stuck on stupid and she'll be riding the denial train allllll the way to the last station. happy-smiley58.gif

God knows it wasnt her historic spending in an equally historic failure of a campaign.
No way it was her.
Im trying to figure out why BO is going so far out of his way to manufacture an excuse for her.
It does no good for him and will ultimately further sully his legacy with more lies for strictly political reasons.
Good thing he cant pardon himself.

What the fuck are you even talking about?

You change your name, but your inanity is always the same.
Now what the fuck are you talking about?

Did you complain when he released positive information? Just point me to where you complained about him giving positive information. I doubt you will, because we both know you didn't.

I believe your words would be, massive hypocrite, if you don't.

I still don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You mean the 2nd announcement that week, when he basically took over the last 11 days?

The last 11 days of the campaign should be about the campaign. They were about the FBI. That's why the FBI has a guideline to not make comments like that less than 60 days outside of an election. If you think the 2nd announcement "helped" Hillary, you're a hell of a lot dumber than I thought.

This is such typical Yurt BS. Comey should have never said anything, negative or what you perceive as "positive."

What a whiner, accuse me of being someone else when your hypocrisy is pointed out.

You have said if he said this about Trump or the Russians allegedly helped Clinton, the pubs would be up in arms. Stop being a whiny hypocrite.

I saw a conversation between you and another poster a couple of weeks ago where just before the election, you said his statement didn't really factor, coincidentally right after he gave a positive statement concerning the emails.

So those PA, MI, and MN democratic voters voted Trump because of Comey, and not because they felt the party had forgotten them?

You're being such a hack.

I started a thread asking if Comey had just decided the election.

I'd be interested to see that conversation. I don't think I EVER said it didn't really factor, because I have always felt it has. I think you're confusing me w/ someone else.

107,000 voters decided the election.

Yeah - the fact that Hillary was on defense the last crucial 11 days of the election definitely changed the dynamic. A lot of people made up their minds in the last week.

Comey's letter was the October surprise. It made all the difference. Just as Bush would have beaten Gore relatively easily if it hadn't been for the DWI story the last week.

Nope, he changes his name, but I see most call him Grind. He said something to the effect that you changed your mind about Comey right before the election.
