An irate neighbor has been arrested after he recreated a scene from the film Gran Turino - and shot two teenagers.
Father-of-one Thomas Dunikowski, 30, confronted the youths who are said to have been kicking cars and ripping open garbage in a street in Brooklyn, New York.
Dunikowski allegedly got into a scuffle with one of the youngsters and returned to his house where he opened fire from a window with a semi-automatic rifle.
Mr. Dunikowski fired a semi-automatic rifle into the street from an upstairs window of his home. Two teenagers were wounded on the street below.

Dunikowski has been arrested on charges including assault, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
Dmitry Kaprovskiy, whose parents live next door to the Dunikowski family, told the New York Times that least 10 shots were fired, with one striking close to his sister, who was in the street.
