Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the largest power companies in the U.S., admits videos suggest its equipment may have sparked the Eaton Fire — the massive blaze that burned 14,000 acres, destroyed thousands of buildings, and killed at least 17 people in Los Angeles.

SCE denies finding direct evidence but is “investigating.” If confirmed, this could mean billions in lawsuits—just like PG&E’s role in past California wildfires.
