Clemson won

VCU. Only have club football here but not too shabby in basketball, tennis and baseball. And the best arts school outside of NY. Pretty good at a number of academic programs and one of the very best schools of medicine in the country.

My grandfather went to Clemson. He used to tell me, "Boy, a Clemson man needs no introduction".

Low blow sir. That hurt

One day there will be a two-part Pete Carroll documentary about his biggest fuck-ups. It will be entitled Pete Carroll Hubris: Part I & II.

The little twit still defends not having Reggie on the field (or punting), and not handing off to Marshawn, to this day.

I must defend not handing to Marshawn. The Pats were selling out the pass on that play; they would have stuffed him. And statistically, he was no guarantee inside the 5 yard line that season.

A pass to the middle was somewhat inexcusable, though. Should have done a fade, or have Wilson run a bootleg.

That pass play from Watson to Renfrow on the last play of the Clemson game was executed to perfection.
Speaking of Renfrow - what a game he had! Caught practically everything thrown his way. Fitting he scores the winning TD with 1 sec. left.

It's so great to see a game like that, where the big moments are guys rising to the occasion and making spectacular plays (instead of the game being characterized by the big mistakes, like the Giants game on Sunday).

Renfrow, Williams and that tight end whose name I can't remember all made fantastic, clutch catches.

I watched at a Clemson bar so needless to say it was a FUN environment. I thought Alabama might dominate them early on.

While the Seahawks are effing terrible as short-yardage rushing attempts, NE was equally bad that season at stopping them. Since Bevell went with the worst passing option available to him, I typically just fall back on the run, even though I was thinking fade or bootleg prior to the snap.
