The leak of a draft opinion regarding abortion has turned the Supreme Court into a place “where you look over your shoulder,” Justice Clarence Thomas said Friday night, and it may have irreparably sundered trust at the institution.

“What happened at the court was tremendously bad,” Thomas said in a conversation with a former law clerk at a conference of conservative and libertarian thinkers in Dallas. “I wonder how long we’re going to have these institutions at the rate we’re undermining them. And then I wonder when they’re gone or destabilized, what we’re going to have as a country.”

Irony noted, Mr Thomas.

Clarence Thomas himself, along with those three zealots appointed by the carnival barker/TV clown, have done more to erode trust in that institution than anything else.

HE IS CORRECT.
 
Clarence has a hard time recognizing reality

When Mitch made the approval vote a majority vote he made the Court 100% political, and at that moment, Americans saw it as such, and lost trust in the SCOTUS
 
His guy Trump was an expert at "undermining our institutions." It's what he did - trashing our intel community, the State Dept., the CIA, the FBI, et al.

Thomas is a total fraud, anyway.

Regardless, Hill or being Black, Thomas was, and still is, unqualified to be a Supreme Court Justice, he authors few majority opinions and nearly ever even asks a question, his vote is predictable on any case based upon politics not law
