Zimmerman would be sued for an intentional act resulting in a wrongful death. Self defense would still be an issue, but instead of having to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt, TM's family would have to prove it by the greater weight of the evidence, or 51% likely that GZ was not legally entitled to shoot TM.

No, I am not sure. I know that is a provision of SYG law here, though I do not know if SYG must be claimed for such an immunity or not, nor whether such is a provision of Florida SYG law.
 
if martins parents sue, i'd countersue for their faulty parenting that allowed martin to believe he could assault white people that were following him.
