Citibank has fired one of its staffers after she posted “revolting” commentary on Instagram that endorsed the mass murder of Jewish people during the Holocaust.

“No wonder why Hitler wanted to get rid of all of them,” Nozima Husainova wrote with a smiley face emoji in an Instagram story, which has since been deleted along with the 25-year-old’s Instagram and other social media accounts.

The post was a screenshot shared to X, formerly Twitter, by non-profit watchdog StopAntisemitism late Wednesday, which also posted a photo of her Instagram profile that boasted over 4,500 followers.

Husainova had written the explosive comment in response to a post about the Gaza hospital bombing that was initially blamed on Israel, but was later revealed to be caused by the Islamic Jihad terror group after its operatives misfired a rocket.

She's an idiot. Posting politically controversial ideas on social media is not the way to obtain, keep and be promoted to the highest levels in a good job.

What a sleazebag.

She's 25, attractive, a college graduate and had a great job....but still an idiot.

Nowadays it seems more people get into trouble posting stupid shit on social media than anything else. Notice that most of the 1/6 seditionists uploaded their evidence to the Internet. LOL

She still has a right to say wherever she wants.

And other people have a right of association. I wouldn't want to work with someone with those kinds of hate fetishes.

Agreed and employers have a right to protect their business from controversy. This is no different than the Chik-fil-A fiasco. Any business that lets itself become politicized deserves what happens to them. The JPP wackos try to impose the Constitution upon businesses...depending upon the political polarity of the business.

Agreed on freedom of association. In this particular case, Citibank employees would be free to quit their jobs if the bank decided to foster antisemites like Nozima Husainova.

I am amazed some people haven't learned to put their best foot forward on social media.
You can have opinions without being a racist jackass.

Agreed on both points.

Social media, including forums like JPP, have people thinking they can say whatever they like without consequence.

On JPP, where most members are anonymous, they can simply drop their account and rejoin under a different name.

On social media like Twitter X, Instagram, Facebook and the like, they are posting under their real names and, as the OP points out, suffering real consequences.

One of my favorites:

Not sure what her position at Citi was, but some companies have language in employment agreements against embarrassing the company in public.

Citi could not allow her to remain, as her comments could be attributed to Citi.

Anyone taking a public stance on this topic is playing with fire once they move past calling for an end to human suffering on both sides.

On one hand we are a country of over 300 million people so it's not surprising we can find individuals who say crazy things. But adding to the topic here's a tweet from an assistant professor at UC Davis straight up threatening Jews with death. And I would find it hard to believe her feelings are new.

Jemma DeCristo will likely be looking for a new job too. LOL

Radical Trans Professor at UC Davis Threatens ‘Zionist Journalists' and Their Kids: 'They Should Fear Us'
hree days after Hamas slaughtered families across southern Israel, a professor at the University of California at Davis issued a social media attack on what he called “Zionist journalists.”

Jemma Decristo, identified by the Post Millennial as a “radical transgender professor” of American studies, made the comment in an Oct. 10 social media post. He has since made his account private.

“[One] group of ppl we have easy access to in the US is all these Zionist journalists who spread propaganda & misinformation,” she wrote. “They have houses w addresses, kids in school. They can fear their bosses, but they should fear us more,” Decristo posted, according to Mediaite.

In case the message was not clear, Decristo added emojis of a knife, ax and blood droplets.

Guano, if that truns your wheel, you should be barking back at a half dozen lefties here that have done the same.

Western tolerance for diversity of opinion died with the West.

I don't see any evidence that such tolerance for diversity of opinion has ever existed in any meaningful way.

It is a fairly unique characteristic of the human species for us to hate one another.

Some of us are much better at it than others.

The thing to remember is this: people try to actualize their opinions.

They try to make their desires come true,
and when they begin to have some success with that,
they have no choice but to piss off those who want something altogether different.

And, a corporation, particularly among its top management, has every right to fire you for presenting a bad look to the corporation. She's hardly the first manager fired for saying stuff the corporation she worked for thought was giving them a bad image.

But it was OK for Kapneedadick to embarrass the NFL
