I posted that the rate of crime committed by illegals non-citizens) is not the issue. Not one American would have been murdered by an illegal had the illegal obeyed our laws and not crossed our borders illegally.

Nobody ever said change was easy. If we really want to end corruption of big money it has to begin with city counsels. What local politician wants to take a stand against an Anti-Corruption Act? That sounds like a quick way to get voted out. It may not mean much at the local level but once this kind of thing takes hold it takes on a life of it's own. When candidates figure out voters like voting for somebody who promises to pass the Anti-Corruption Act, they will be quick to embrace it and follow through.

After enough cities and counties have passed it that is when it will pass at the state levels too. And then we will begin sending anti-corruption legislators to DC. One by one all of the swamp creatures in DC will be replaced until there is a majority of Anti-Corruption Act politicians in DC. Then it will pass the federal level.

That will take years. Sure, it won't be easy. But we have no better choices. Electing Bernie would be wonderful but how does that get him the Congress which would pass what he wants? No way a corrupt one is going to do that. They all answer to the rich and powerful who don't want anything that doesn't make them richer and more powerful.

It was the GOP that set the standard for impeachment when they did it to Clinton. One of those 2 articles was Obstruction of Congress. What Clinton did was lie about a sexual relation and try to cover it up.
