Chuck Todd: ‘I Don’t Understand How Bernie’s Considered a Frontrunner’

Nobody wants 4 more years of Trump. Whoever gets the most Votes and is the Nominee, will be getting everyone's support.
(Now, if Bloomberg buys his way into a brokered Convention, you might see people throw up their hands and ask "What's the difference?")

Who says that then? Trump is vastly preferable to a loony like Bernie, only Millennials and old hippies think otherwise. Putin of course wants him to win so that the oil and gas prices can go up again.

If you like totalitarianism, this is your change. He is a horrible person, a horrible leader and a terrible president.

WT FUCK???!!! IT's YOU AND YOURS WHO CHEER FOR IRAN, RED CHINA, VENEZUELA, ETAL.

ARE YOU ON GLUE???

LIST ALL THE POLITICAL OPPONENTS PRES.TRUMP HAS HAD ARRESTED, AND THE ELECTIONS HE HAS STOPPED.

WHAT A STUPID FUCK.

Chuck Todd is right. Mayor Pete leads in delegates. Bernie cannot get more than 39 to 41% of the vote.

And how do you think the wine cave candidate who has dissed and pissed off the blacks in his community will do in South Carolina? Bernie won the popular vote in Iowa and NH but the corporate media wants to ignore that.

I'm with you...YAY BERNIE!! RAH!! RAH!! RAH !!! I hope to hell he is the FRAUD-O-CRAT CANDIDATE!!

PUL-EAAAAAZE !!!! I'm gonna donate to his campaign if he kicks ass in S.Carolina and Nevada...

(shaking head) Why don't you just concentrate on your Opium Farm in Thailand and quit interjecting your opinions into American Politics???

I actually think Bernie is not as strong as people make him out to be.

The Bernie//Warren vote is smaller than the Butt/Klob vote. Now its not a guarantee as Trump benefitted from a three way race the whole time so we will see if the others drop out in time.

Bernie has an energized base [notably, the only energized base] but he probably has a hard ceiling—there are Democrats who simply won’t vote for an outright socialist. In fact, one of the knocks against Bernie is he would chase moderate Democrats in Trump’s direction.

Putin also knows any chance of putting US/Russian relations back on track is w/Trump
They would have had a deal - or at least talks in place for solving Donbass. or Talks on the Arctic.

But Trump is the victim of Russiaphobia. Any dealings with Putin would have Shumer screaming "traitor"
Which was Brennan's goal from the start...destroy any detente' w/Russia

Hello signalmankenneth,

My question is, if Bernie doesn't win the democratic nomination will his followers still bother to vote?!! I don't support Bernie, but if he is the nominee I will vote for him, the alternative is four more years of a lawless, careless, egotistical idiot, dangerous narcissistic, and ignorant racist!

Well that's the thing. Many of the Bernie fans are Bernie-or-bust. They are idealists. They don't believe in the system, and who can blame them. They want Bernie and if they can't have him then they really don't care. They think we are screwed with anybody else. That's some pretty strong support. So whadup? If Bernie gets the nom, maybe he CAN win... and would that be so bad? It would certainly be better than Trump, and he would certainly right more than a few wrongs. And besides. He would be powerless to pass most of his platform. He won't have a Congress full of like-minded drones and he will not be controlling them through twitter.

Hello Cinnabar,

I will vote for a lamppost if its the nominee but Bernie and Liz Warren are the only ones calling out corruption. No brainer to me being we are going off a cliff to fascism and oligarch rule. What are so called moderates bringing to the table? Their egos?

You can try to fix corruption from the top down but I believe it really needs to be from the bottom up.

We need to pass the Anti-Corruption Act in cities, towns, counties and states. Then we send anti-corruption legislators to DC. When a majority has been established in DC the swamp is largely drained and we can pass the Anti-Corruption Act at the federal level.

It has already passed in many places, including the capital of Florida, Tallahassee.

Hello Casual Leftist,

From the statistics I remember reading roughly 12% percent of Bernie voters in the Primary voted for Trump in the general. Of that 12% a significant portion held views I would describe as anti-Hillary/establishment rather than progressive, so they probably wouldn't have voted for her regardless. It would help if there was less reasons to doubt the primary is being rigged along with working with the media to reduce the truth behind his appeal. That would probably help retain Bernie fans. Edit: Source https://www.npr.org/2017/08/24/5458...voters-ended-up-supporting-trump-survey-finds

Many Bernie fans are young idealists. They are not well informed and do not grasp the big picture nor the veracity of compromise.
