I love how politicians have to create villains in the midst of a crisis in order to push forward an otherwise unpopular agenda.

The left is doing exactly what they accused Bush of doing to Muslims/Arabs.

That would be:

1) Every single person that bought more home than they could afford

2) Every single person that took equity out of their home to buy a new car/big screen/etc....

3) Every single lender who loaned them the money to do either of the above

4) Every single politician that dismantled Glass Steagall

5) Every single wall street exec tied to the CDO debacle

6) Alan Greenspan

7) Every politician that has been in Congress for the past 48 years as they raised our nations debt

8) Whoever the idiots are that removed the uptick rule

9) Every hedge fund that participated in bear raids

10) any asshole that had naked short positions and got away with it.


Sorry Desh... but it most definitely is NOT the top 1%.... it is across the board, all income brackets, both parties, wall street, greenspan, lenders and borrowers alike

BOTH PARTIES DID THIS TO US.

Only a braindead idiot would believe it was just one party.

I never said all debt was bad or that running a deficit was always bad. But for the past FORTY EIGHT YEARS... the idiots in the two parties couldn't manage to lower the debt in ANY of them??? They all screwed us.
