I think you mis-understand me. One of the few things that riles me is when people think the because folks are religious and socially conservative (these describe me) they are necessarily insane and un-intelligent. That is the gist of what I was getting out of most of this thread beyond the "Chuck wants to start a revolution" banter.

He's quoting former Texas governer Sam Houston. not sure why though......

I get it now. It's what Houston said before the battle of san jacinto prior to Texas gaining independence from Santa Anna
