So did Grassley say something that wasn't true ?

The investigation wasn't complete when he made this statement.....
Guns involved in F and F WERE USED in a previous agents murder....
and any killing along the border WILL be suspect a weapon involved in F & F might have been used....

Seems to me he got it spot on perfect......

What he DID SAY is FACT.......undeniable FACT

And WE KNOW FOR A FACT that F & F guns were responsible for an agents murder and dozens of others in Mexico....

Because all the runners under WR were picked up at the border and it was done with the cooperation of the Mexican government? Not that WR wasn't a terrible idea, but it didn't backfire.

Because that operation was shut down, while the next one started nearly a year later wasn't shut down until they were caught with their hands in the cookie jar and thousands of weapons walked across the border unmonitored used to kill hundreds of Mexican nationals and were found at the murder scene of at least one of our border agents.

It worked perfectly, the weapons were "found" at the scenes of crimes as they planned, too bad it led to no actionable intelligence unlike their supposed intent... You have to be cripplingly stupid to believe they actually believed that by finding them at murder scenes they'd be able to "track" them, seriously, there is zero credibility in that deceptively simple and too obviously brain dead "plan"...

Basically, so far only F&F guns have been found at the scene of a crime where any of our agents have been shot. No WR guns have ever had such dubious honor. It isn't too difficult to figure why they'd ask about F&F and not WR.

So far? Plenty of guns disappeared under OWR. Why do you think they shut it down?

Doesn't Grassley ever wonder what happened to those guns?

I can tell you why. The Bush Administration never tried to shut down inquiries into OWR, worked in concert with the Mexican government. None of our agents were ever killed by guns that were lost in tracking during OWR, not the same with F&F. The President didn't, after claiming no personal knowledge, claim Executive Privilege to shut down election cycle questioning after OWR, the President did after F&F. Why are there more questions involving the guns in F&F? Because there were so many more of them, and some were found at a crime scene involving the death of one of our agents, and the "most transparent Administration ever" has shut down any attempt to gain the truth...

If and when any OWR guns are found in Mexico, the Mexican government knows where, why, and how they crossed, unlike the ones from F&F.

Hundreds of unasked for and untracked weapons found by the Mexican government at crime scenes show that our government was complicit in the death of hundreds of innocent Mexican nationals who have done nothing except be in the way of one of the weapons our government let them have in order to "track" them back to sales in the US that they themselves allowed.

Does anybody remember how Hillary was proclaiming that 90% of the weapons found at their crime scenes were tracked back to the US? Do you personally remember that claim? The "tracking" they were doing appears to be political. Caring nothing for innocents that would be killed our government wanted to track how many they'd find at crime scenes, and apparently doesn't want you to know why they let it happen.
