Christians rush to help Oklahoma

You make an excellent gangster charver.

From an allocation of resources I understand that food and shelter provide more than a bible. With the belief that each person can spend their money how they choose if they want to spend $1 on a bible I have no problem with it. And while that bible may not provide shelter to a family it might provide spiritual comfort a family needs in its time of loss. That you can't really put a price tag on.

Okay, then why not collect and distribute numerous religious, spiritual or inspirational books?

I realize it may be of value to some but the real point is a promotion of the values of the one giving. It is not very charitable.

Don't many consider the bible to be the most religious, spiritual and inspirational of books? I can't claim to know the religious beliefs of all in the area but I would surmise it's probably a pretty strongly Christian area. Again, I'm just not seeing the harm here.
