Christians being crucified by Muslims in Egypt

Several Middle East news agencies are confirming reports that some of the Muslim Brotherhood operatives have "crucified those opposing Egyptian President Muhammad Morsi naked on trees in front of the presidential palace while abusing others."


"It's anyone who is resisting the new government … In this particular case, the people attacked and crucified were secular protesters upset because of Morsi's hostile campaign against the media," said Raymond Ibrahim, a fellow with the Middle East Forum and the Investigative Project on Terrorism, according to Al Khabar News.


Egyptian Christians and other religious minorities are subjected to this archaic form of execution because radical Muslims are following Islamic doctrine, which allows for enemies of Allah to be crucified.


"Crucifixion is a hadd punishment, stipulated in the Quran, Sura 5:33, and therefore an obligatory part of Shariah … It's been a traditional punishment within Islam since the beginning, even though it's not exclusively Islamic. The Romans used it too," Clare Lopez, a Center for Security Policy Senior Fellow, said, according to Sky News

For anyone at this point to deny who this guy is, is naive at best, intellectually dishonest at worst, and it is probably the latter. See libs hate Christians because they stand for what is right. All recognition of the illegitimate tyrannical regime in Egypt should be suspended until democracy is restored along with its legitimate president and al-Sisi is tried and executed. What he has done is worse than what the Chinese did at Tiananmen. He is a war criminal, and there can be no forgiveness.

I suppose firing into hundreds of peaceful protesters is the right, moral thing to do? Deng Xiaoping is a good, loving Christian by your standards.
 
Not sure what response is being looked for here. Of course killing of hundreds of people is horrible. As with the 1,300 killed in Syria by a gas attack (according to claims by the Syrian opposition - don't know if they are true or not)

I couldn't get to the original article, so don't know if the claims that Christians are being targeted is true.

But killing peaceful protestors sucks.

It was certainly harsh but I think they learnt from the example set in Algeria when an Islamic regime was voted in, back in the 90's.

You mean the peaceful Christian church burning, Christian home burning, Crucifying Christians, Muslim Brotherhood? Those peaceful protesters? Have you ever read what Morsi said about the Jewish people?, I doubt you have there is nothing peaceful about Islamist Fanatics.

Christians all around Egypt are cleaning up in the aftermath of a spate of attacks, which came on the country's deadliest day since the 2011 revolution that overthrew longtime President Hosni Mubarak.

Bishop Angaelos, the Cairo-born head of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom, said he was told by colleagues in Egypt that 52 churches were attacked in a 24-hour span that started Wednesday, as well as numerous Christians' homes and businesses.

Well, I guess you've finally got us liberals figured out. The only problem I have with this crucifying thing is that it's going to add a lot of competition to baby jesus. Your sorrow will have to be divvied out now. What's a kristyun to do?
