Is this guy related to DumbYankee maybe?

"Tuesday, the FBI arrested 26-year old Christian radical Justin Carl Moose in Concord, NC for “providing information to create explosives” to “blow up a North Carolina abortion clinic.” Through his conversations with an FBI informant and his Facebook page, Moose expressed virulent “anger at abortion doctors, President Barack Obama’s health care plan, and plans to build a mosque near ground zero in New York city.” He goes on to describe himself as “the Christian counterpart to Osama bin Laden” who “has learned a lot from the muslim terrorists and have no problem using their tactics”:

Justin Carl Moose, 26, is a self-described “extremist, radical” and the “Christian counterpart of Osama bin Laden,” according to an affidavit filed by FBI agents.

“Extremist, Radical, Fundamentalist…? Yep! Terrorist…? Well, I prefer the term ‘freedom Fighter.’” [...]

“If a mosque is built on ground zero, it will be removed. Oklahoma City style. Tim’s not the only man out there that knows how to do it,” the affidavit says he wrote in July, in a reference to Timothy McVeigh, who bombed a federal building in Oklahoma City.[...]

FBI agents obtained search warrants and started reading his private messages. In one sent to a fellow abortion opponent, agents say Moose wrote: “I have learned a lot from the muslim terrorists and have no problem using their tactics.”

Moose is self-attested member of “Army of God,” an “underground network of domestic terrorists who believe that the use of violence is appropriate and accetable as a means to end abortion.” According to its manual, the group’s purpose is to “officially declare war on the entire child killing industry.” Believing that “Our Most Dread Sovereign Lord God requires” bloodshed, members “are forced to take arms against” abortion clinics in which “execution is rarely gentile [sic].”

Nah...probably not. But he seems like he could be related to that "pastor" of that quasi-church in Florida. People like this continue to give Christianity a bad name.

It does not give Christianity a good name but like any large group there are always going to be waco's, extremists, fringe types etc. Ultimately it comes down to how does the larger group view them? Do they tolerate and support them or do they attempt to distance themselves? Of course we can change Christianity in this example to any other number of large groups.

I mean should we denounce Chrisitianity because of this pyscho dude? Should I be embarrassed to be a Christian?

No. You should be embarrassed to be a Trojan.

To be fair, christian terrorists shouldn't be used to smear the entire religion of christianity.

Although, interestingly I have learned from leading rightwing intellectuals on jpp.com that some muslim criminals are and can be conflated with the religion of Islam.

To answer your last two questions....no and no. I most definitely think that true Christians ought to distance themselves from, even point out the ridiculousness of (in the case with the Florida nut) or the un-Christianlikeness of (in the case with any terrorists) these guys that want to do such things in the name of Christianity. Are there going to be fringe nuts out there? You bet. Do we just ignore them or do we face up to them & point out the foolishness of their behavior. I say the latter.

Islam is, by its nature, a religion of evil and violence, while Christianity is a religion of peace and love. Those Muslims who attacked the world trade center were just being faithful to their book of lies, while these men are not even Christians.

Fair enough, Cypress. One can get that idea from reading stuff on here. I can tell you that when 9/11 happened, my Muslim friends were quick to denounce the event & distance themselves from that "fringe" of Islam. I am making an effort to do the same with [Christian] whackos like the two discussed on this thread.

This is a good point, and basically addresses another question I had.

Shouldn't the hallowed ground, in a two block radius around bombed abortion clinics, be off-limits to evangelical christian churches? i.e., those symbols of fundamentalist christianity's victory over a woman's right to reproductive choice?

You have fully addressed that question, well done sir.

You are correct...they shouldn't.

But as long as ignorant racists want to paint the entire Muslim Religion as terrorists because of the acts of a few whackos, then it's going to continue.

How about atheists or non-religious types who are 'ignorant racists' regarding the Muslim religion?

Muslims are only capable of being nonviolent by ignoring the teachings of their religion. Islam was developed as nothing other than a tool for Muhammad to establish an empire. He deliberately crafted it to be warlike in order to do so. Earlier parts of the Koran are more peaceful; this nicely coincidences with the time when Muhammad was trying to convince the Jews that he was their Messiah. Afterward, he turned to violence, and wrote that down in the Koran. It doesn't help that in order to reconcile the numerous contradictions present in this demon's book of lies, Muslims scholars have decided that the later, more violent parts of the book should take precedence over the earlier, more peaceful parts.

Who would advocate burning a stack of Bibles to protest this group?

Christians in Gaza Fear for Their Lives as Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses

Published June 18, 2007

Father Manuel Musallem, head of Gaza's Latin church, told the AP that Muslims have ransacked, burned and looted a school and convent that are part of the Gaza Strip's small Romany Catholic community. He told the AP that crosses were broken, damage was done to a statue of Jesus, and at the Rosary Sister Schooland nearby convent, prayer books were burned.

I'll bet you were all over this at the time, right Pinhead ?
No, I guess not...you only suck the Muslim dicks....
