It is such a stupid argument. As far as I can tell Jimmy carter was probably the best Christian President in the past 100 years. But he was the worst President on policy. Christians are more interested in policy and how it affects their lives.

I agree with your assessment of Carter. Remember leftists arent trying to make any argument let alone a smart one. The Christian argument thing is intended only to try and embarrass Christians. It has no other purpose. Leftists are about emotions not arguments.

I didn't say anything about sin.

No president is going to openly admit they are either atheist, or don't give a shit about religion.

The fact is that Trump doesn't go to church, doesn't know anything about the bible, mocks evangelicals behind their backs, and doesn't even have the curiosity of an agnostic to think about the metaphysical claims from both sides of the fence.

If you want to call your Messiah an immoral agnostic who secretly mocks christians, that's fine.

To me, all evidence points to him being basically an atheist, for all intents and purposes.
