The last time the Yangtze was like that was in 1961!!

Some long-lead predictions even suggest that the
La Niña might persist into 2023. If so, it would only be the third “triple-dip La Niña” (three consecutive northern hemisphere winters of La Niña conditions) since 1950, according to WMO.

I will say that the video only shows some exposed shallow sandbars.

In the U.S., the Colorado River no longer reaches the Gulf, and instead peters out of existence miles short of the sea. The flow started to diminish in the 1920's, and stopped reaching the gulf, at times, during the 1960's.
