One of the cool things about the Green Revolution is that I can install solar on my house and then for the next 10 years pay NO utility bills and CHARGE MY CAR FOR FREE on my solar. The panels are long paid off.

It's amazingly freeing.

I can still see some point in having a gasoline car for longer trips. But the amount of gas you need to buy for that is much less than you spend on your daily commutes.
