They were not ahead of us our missile and space tech was vastly superior and safer but we didn't rush things needlessly putting our pilots lives in unnecessary danger but being a murderous totalitarian regime the Soviets didn't give a damn about their pilots one of whom; Vladimir Kamarov, wanted to refuse a launch because he knew it wasn't safe but the commissars refused to delay so he went because he didn't want his alternate; Yuri Gagarin, to die. Also being a totalitarian regime they only announced their successes and buried their failures along with the dead pilots.

The Obama stimulus was a back door DNC fundraising operation by laundering the money through the unions. Furthermore; the current economic crisis wasn't the result of economic mismanagement, to big to fail companies and banks should have been allowed to fail but when the failure is the result of government policy then of course the government should provide aid. Our economy was booming before China shut down the planet and killed hundreds of thousands through their cover up.

Regulating Wall Street and the big banks, which saved the economy.
But that's besides the points. My comment was in reply to WitoldPilecki's remark about Republican hypocrisy. First Democrats were racist for voting for a black guy, but then they were racist for voting for a white guy. They were Socialists for the ACA, but the Republicans aren't Socialist for the stimulus check.
It's one thing to disagree with Democrat positions, but the Republicans clearly don't believe in shit.

The market would have regulated the banks out of existence the economy would have recovered on it's own. Regulation didn't save the economy and neither did Obama he actually deepened and lengthened the recession through his failed stimulus plan and economic mismanagement.
Furthermore; the causes for the crash were government in nature as well IE bringing affirmative action to the housing market and creating an environment which promoted granting risky predatory loans.

You are comparing apples and oranges, the housing crash was made because of economic mismanagement and bad decisions, this crash was caused by a foreign power and natural disaster and granting aid during a time of pestilence is a legitimate function of government bail out failed companies with shit business models is not.

The market doesn't regulate itself. The market allows wealth to pool among a tiny minority. That minority then bribes politicians to make regulations that help them get richer, which fucks the working-class.
I'm not a big Obama fan. I think his Zionist foreign policies were atrocious. However, I give credit where it's due. Like it or not, he did save the economy, or at least played a big role in saving it.
According to Bigdog, who I was originally replying to, the DNC is racist for choosing Biden. This is a major talking-point among Fox News Republicans. I think this is hugely hypocritical, because they also said the DNC was racist for choosing Obama. So which is it? Is the DNC pro-white racist, or pro-black racist?
