Foxconn, a major manufacturer of devices for Apple and Samsung, has reportedly sacked 60,000 workers in one of its factories in China and replaced them with robots.
The factory in China's Kunshan region has reduced the number of employees from 110,000 to 50,000 thanks to the introduction of robots, reports the South China Morning Post.

Desh, you barely understand how markets work and now you're claiming to understand international econonics? Is there no limit to your delusions?

dear fucking idiot

this means more production in the US

fuck you very much
And to prove how you little you know...

Desh, cost of business in China has been rising for years and therefore businesses move to places like Vietnam and other smaller Asian countries.

It is a curse embedded in the Chinese vernacular & culture: "May you live in interesting times."

I find it absolutely fascinating to watch China as it makes its way.

The Soviet politburo was its own undoing.
North Korea isn't much better.

But China, perhaps with the example of Hong Kong to hold their communist feet to the fire; is thriving.

China's politburo is reportedly small (7 members?), and nimble.

And what they and we can see is; China's most prosperous elements include those most Westernized elements of their society.

Apple for example, sometimes called the most prosperous company on Earth, made its most popular products in China.

What the title of this thread demonstrates is; China is learning how to do capitalism!

And we are witness to it, not be reading about it in some dusty old history book, but seeing the history unfold day by day; with glimpses of it in HD video.
