It takes a special kind of evil to prostitute and traffick a child for sex, and yet this evil walks among us every minute of every day.

Consider this: every two minutes, a child is bought and sold for sex.

Hundreds of young girls and boys—some as young as 9 years old—are being bought and sold for sex, as many as 20 times per day.

Adults purchase children for sex at least 2.5 million times a year in the United States alone.

In Georgia alone, it is estimated that 7,200 men (half of them in their 30s) seek to purchase sex with adolescent girls each month, averaging roughly 300 a day.

On average, a child might be raped by 6,000 men during a five-year period.

It is estimated that at least 100,000 to 500,000 children—girls and boys—are bought and sold for sex in the U.S. every year, with as many as 300,000 children in danger of being trafficked each year. Some of these children are forcefully abducted, others are runaways, and still others are sold into the system by relatives and acquaintances.

There is no bigger crime going on in the world than physically,mentally, and sexually abusing a child. IMO anyone caught directly, or even indirectly involved with it deserves the death penalty. To be put down like the subhuman they are.

If you follow through the links, you find out that is from UNICEF, and for the entire world. It would be bizarrely high, if it were for the USA. Most of the statistics in this article are off.

According to UNICEF every two minutes a child is being prepared for sexual exploitation. 1.2 million children alone are being trafficked every year. This number excluded the millions already being held captive by trafficking. UNICEF also reports that approximately 30 million children have lost their childhood through sexual exploitation over the past 30 years. People are trafficked from 127 countries and are exploited in 137 countries according to the United Nations. Every year, 20,000 Nepali girls are trafficked and often send to work as prostitutes in brothels in India or as domestic servants in the Middle East. Some of these girls are as young as nine and even sadder, "many of these girls end up contracting HIV within two years and many of them die before the reach 20" (Tan, 2011). Although most people associate the term human trafficking with countries other than the United States like Romania, China, Lithuania, Bularia, Thailand, Mexico and Nigeria, there have been approximately 100,000 to 150,000 sex slaves in the United States since 2001.

It is just a fact that the NRA supported Nugent, who raped children. And the Proud Boys support men having control over girls to sexually exploit them. These are not good examples of ending sexual abuse of minors in America.

Your defense of a terrorist attack on children is that other children being sexually exploited?

We have heard this one before. There were real crimes against children in 1930's Germany, but that was not solved by murdering children in the Holocaust. The two are not linked.

It is time we do something about it.

We need to outlaw child marriage in America. We are one of the few countries with rising number of child marriages. It is unbelievable. There is no reason anyone under 18 should be getting married in modern America.

It should be absolutely illegal for anyone over 25 to have sex with anyone under 18. Adopting a child to have sex with should be absolutely illegal.
