Agreed violence occurs most often in a higher density population, but not necessarily so. Gangs, to some extent, have existed for a long time in America. Why can't the cities figure out why there are gangs?

Not an economist, but it seems their common poverty may be a good area of investigation. Aren't good jobs once what made America the Land of Milk and Honey?
