Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren released a DNA study Monday that claims she is 1/1,024 Native America. That’s 0.009765625.

The average white person in America has nearly double the amount of American Indian DNA (0.18%) as Elizabeth Warren (0.098%), who claims to be Cherokee.

Elizabeth Warren made up all kinds of elaborate stories in an effort to bolster her claims she is Native American.

Warren claimed her parents had to elope because her father’s parents were racist and didn’t approve of their son’s Cherokee girlfriend.

Senator Warren also previously claimed her Pawpaw’s high cheekbones were proof she is of Native American descent.

None of these outrageous claims and stunts pass muster with the Cherokee Nation–Elizabeth Warren is a fraud.

Most people claim to have indian blood just as most people claim to be Irish around St. Patrick's day. Just how Merica rolls. I mean you can look at Senator Pasty Face and see that if she had native american blood in her it was many generations removed. She should have gone with Daughter of the American Revolution or a Mayflower descendant.

She insults Native Americans with her claim.

To claim Native ancestry you must be able to show direct lineage to a federally registered member and be no less than 1/8.

She's a total fraud!
 
A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person’s ancestors were indigenous to North or South America,” Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskins Jr. Said. “Sovereign tribal nations set their own legal requirements for citizenship, and while DNA tests can be used to determine lineage, such as paternity to an individual, it is not evidence for tribal affiliation.”

“Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven,” the statement said.

I guess it depends on how offended you want to be. One of my grandfathers was 1/2 Cherokee. I see it more in my cousins as my litter took after the other side of the family other than a couple of us can get really really dark tans in summer pretty readily. I'm not offended, but as I have already stated, to me it is more trivia than important.
