The realistic choice is Trump either testifies live or drags this out past the midterms. You dont need to be a good lawyer to be able to drag a subpeona out for 2-3 weeks without refusing it outright. Hell you could refuse it outright and there would be no consequences for 2-3 weeks

Almost all the testimony was recorded while not in session. It saves time. Congressional members can watch the entire interviews themselves to verify authenticity.
