A jury in Charlottesville said Tuesday that James Alex Fields Jr. should be sentenced to life plus 419 years in prison and $480,000 in fines, for killing Heather Heyer and seriously injuring 35 others.

Judge Richard Moore will decide whether to sign off on the recommended sentence at a hearing on March 29.

We'll see if the sentence stands but the damage has already been done here. People, or at least some people, who wouldn't normally defend Fields in any way are going to look at the convictions and think things are a little fishy in this case.

This was at most reckless driving. The obese chain-smoking pig that died may have died due to other factors. The judge, jury, and defense lawyer were all intimidated by the liberal press into convicting this schmuck. White-priders don't have a chance in courtrooms.
