He barely blipped my political radar until he was killed. Free speech is the foundation of liberty. He had every right to espouse his beliefs, although I doubt those were his true beliefs. Like most wealthy pundits, he said what paid the most. That being said, promoting violence, hatred, bigotry in the name of "American ideals" is wrong. That is not who we are, but it's what the Reichwingers, including this young man who profited off of it, wants.
