People will always pay for convenience.
That they will. Sure kept 7-11 in business!
It's like I keep saying. All you have to do is look at the cars (and trucks) on the road. See what people are driving. Not that many EVs. There's a reason.

Not to mention it keeps you warm and cozy as a side effect instead of draining battery like a drunk on a 40 or Miller.
Why push a Chevy when you can drive a Ford?![]()
So it is all about you. There are electric trucks. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a29890843/full-electric-pickup-trucks/ They will fill your needs better.

Especially out here in farm country. Dusty dirt roads are hard enough on HD trucks, they'd destroy an EV in 30,000-40,000 miles if not sooner. Then there's our winters, an electric heater would really suck an EV's battery dry in a hurry.
Yeah. I'd love to see an EV try to deal with your winters.
EVs don't handle dusty dirt roads well. The rocks damage their batteries. The uneven terrain might bash the battery pack to death pretty quickly too. Me? I wouldn't give it even 30,000 miles. You are being extraordinarily generous.
Might be interesting to see a bull's reaction after he charges an EV!

Depends on the size of the tank (The size of the battery is limited by the car design). Some cars have extended range tanks.
Ever see one hit an electric fence?
You know what Ford stands for backwards, right?
Driver returns on foot.
Indeed they do. I definitely wouldn't want to try crossing the country in an all electric vehicle.
Heh. All I can say is I haven't had to do that yet!

Me neither. It would take weeks to do it, much of it sitting around waiting for it to recharge.
Kinda makes you appreciate the folks that WALKED across the country, doesn't it?
Why do you post without doing any homework? there are charging stations across the nation. You can top it off while eating lunch and going to the toilet. Type in charging stations in your area and watch the screen light up. You do a recharge when you sleep too. Makes you appreciate how dishonest some posters are.

trouble is you're stuck with an electric vehicle which turns to trash i 10 years. Kinda like a Yugo only WAY more expensive and useless in cold climates.
well they looked nice on the lot. Wasnt until you got it home and started driving it that you discovered all the problems. In the end you literally balled it up and threw it away.
Hydrogen is the key. but not necessarily liquid. There are some interesting alternatives being worked on. We shall see where that leads.
