i know. i made a bundle on it.. have been holding it for years. sold at 49.50.. ;) i will likely buy back after the profit taking. making some good cash as of late off FFIV as well.


Im all updated on stock challenge. got all 5 port's picked. sucks you can only put 25% in each stock.

No, it doesn't suck. It means you actually have to pick stocks and not simply get lucky with one security.

I still haven't been able to get the currency portion to work yet.

I do like the fact that they are limiting everyone to the five portfolios as well.
 
I'm trying not to sell so quickly this time. They actually turned a several million dollar profit for the first time ever.
I finally picked my stocks for the contest

You'd be suprised at the similarities of first solar and ener.
Ener was first to the party of thin film w/out needing silicon.
the were held back by being an R&D company. The Company founder passed and new management is now running it for profit.
 
in MA right now with the subsidy they are offering i can put solar on my roof that will cut my electricity bill in half for about 10K of my money.. Electric in half plus factor in increase of the electric bill and that pays for itself in about 5-7years.

the only difference is the government subsidy in Germany. thats how close we are here.
