Changes.... Forced Ignore is back...

@Lionfish AKA Legina the Snitch Bitch must be very grateful to you, Damo. What did she get you in exchange for another very special favor?

Obviously if you hadn't implemented an unprecedented one-way forced ignored then you wouldn't have had to make this change. Another example of you going out of your way to please the Snitch Bitch. Weird!
Yup, now I know that Dutch the "Repiner Whiner" was "naughty" again. Too funny! :rofl2:

It's adorable that Dutch is following my posts around like a lost puppy just so he can give a "barf" reaction to all of them. Too cute!

I'm glad you've found a new "thing", Dutch... ;)
There is literally a 'herd' of moonbats that do that all day, every day. Bowelwoman controls the hive, and she thinks she is the queen bee.

I needed it for two way forced ignores as well.

Honestly it seemed unfair that you (plural you, meaning everyone) could put someone on ignore and they nearly vanish, but you could then continue to try to make the site unusable for them. So, I fixed it. Nobody complained about it recently, so this was proactive not reactive. If you don't want to see the posts of another, you shouldn't have the capability to try to poke at them.

How so? If someone is on ignore, either dictatorially or by choice, they can't see the posts, alerts or anything else except the name and blank space when someone replies to them.

The only explanation for this is Dutch Special Rule #8* because you have me on one-way forced ignore with your special little buddy and I kept posting "@Lionfish AKA Legina the Snitch Bitch".

*or is it #9?

If someone does that it's called "Fake Ignore" meaning they are liars who aren't really ignoring them. They might as well just admit they aren't ignoring them and troll them back.

No, Damo, the only explanation of this is your use of one-way forced ignore on me and that I upset your little girlfriend Legina.

That said, I can still have fun with her socks and by noting which posts she "likes" indicating that I'm getting to under her skin.

Dunkle Thinskin to English Translation: Instead of reading why someone has done something when explained, I, as a narcissist, try to make it about me. In this post I am bragging how annoying I am, I think I am so annoying that every modification made is about me.

This is nonsense. I explained how the software worked to allow you (again plural you, meaning everyone) to put someone on ignore and still @ mention them and fill their notifications. IMHO, if you have someone on ignore, or are forced to ignore someone, you should not have the capacity to poke at them using the feature. So I made it so you cannot. You can still @ mention them, they just won't "hear" you.

Again, understood. We, meaning most JPP members, call that "FAKE IGNORE". Such people are ridiculed for their dishonesty.

Until you began protecting your girlfriend with a one-way Forced Ignore, how could two people you placed on Forced Ignore alert the other person???

They certainly cannot fill a box with @mentions any longer. Folks on your ignore list should not have to suffer your presence any more than you want to suffer theirs. Your own actions earned you each and every forced ignore on your list. That Lionfish was not complaining and never asked for forced ignore is the reason it took so long for this to happen at all. Your own actions merited it. You are proud of it, continue it, flaunt it, then like a Cubs fan take great pride in how much they suck... I don't normally respond to you lately, mostly because I do not care much anymore.

This change was not about you, nobody complained. I didn't do this for or against you personally though it does seem to affect you most, you are the only one complaining about it, for instance, but you are not the only one affected.

Solution: Take them off ignore, troll the shit out of them like your girlfriend does and fill up their boxes with alerts.

This rule change only works for one-way Forced Ignore, Damo. Be honest, how many people out of JPP's 1,857 current members do you have on one-way Forced Ignore and why? My guess: One because your girlfriend Legina wants it that way. LOL

It does not. It also blocks them from jamming your box with @mentions.

Understood. Why don't you understand the difference between Fake Ignore and One-Way Forced Ignore?

What does Legina the Snitch Bitch have on you? Dirty pics? Is she your little somethin' on the side? Is she a relative dying of MS or ALS?

There is clearly a very special relationship between you two that compels you to 1) protect her and 2) go through the extra effort of rule changes instead of simply making it a regular two-way Forced Ignore.

Maybe @leaningright or @Phantasmal have a clue?

Could not care less about the difference. Folks who choose ignore can still remove the person from ignore then respond to them, etc. If the @ mention works, they are faking the ignore... If they aren't on forced ignore their actions didn't merit such a thing.

If all the changes I made start to work after the Ajax refreshes, when you @ mention them and they are on your ignore list it will not put the mention tags around the name and it will just look like text @mention like that... however it will take a while for that to flow into action... If I even wrote it correctly...

Thanks. Exactly my point. You want to protect your girlfriend and you have the time and power to do it. I get it. I just disagree with the obvious bias.

It's also a mystery to know what your "special" relationship is all about. :)
