Change name of Yale?

Sorry, unable to paste. Gist of the article is the new trend around college campuses of students wanting buildings renamed if the person was involved in slavery or racism. A building at Yale fits that criteria but the author brings up the man who the University is named after had ties to slavery as well. Should they go as far as to rename the entire school?

Slavery, no matter where it occurred, is/was a travesty. Like racism and sexism people were a product of their time. Should we erase much of our history based on today's standards?

That means 90% of stuff in WV named after KKK member and democrat leader Robert Byrd should be renamed. But I guess libtards are proud of him and his KKK roots
 
Columbia is named after Christopher Comumbus. That should probably make the "too change" list

Considering there are more effete assholes per square centimeter at Yale than any place on the planet what would be the point?
 
LOL you all are missing the elephant, if we were to change the name of every entity involved in evil, we would have to change many nations names. Any suggestions for new name for America? Or Germany? Or China. Then there is religion, Catholicism would be what? The entire South in America would need name changes. LOL Enough seriousness for now.
 
I mean I think this shit is funny as hell. Alumni are pissed as hell over this hypersensitivity shit and demonizing people out context. A minority of very vocal students call for these changes. They in turn are led and taught these beliefs by faculty who are hired by the administration who has a severe case of white mans guilt. Then graduate students who go on to perpetuate the cycle.

Makes you kinda proud you had to work your ass off to come up with the jack to pay for tuition and books and get your studies done at ole State U and didn't have time for this sort of happy horse shit then these effete, spoiled, entitled scions who's parents pay for it all. I hope they get their money's worth. LOL

My favorite story still, which shows even Ohio isn't perfect, are the kids from $60K/yr Oberline saying finals should be suspended because they were too tired from all their protesting activism.

LOL I can't imagine that happening at Palmer college. Sleep deprivation to stay on top of your studies was a life style there. I remember spending a week sleepin during sprin break. Activism? Who had time for that?
