Chancellor Scholz in Moscow- Putin makes conciliatory withdrawal

Satire for Sanity
This is all about Nord Stream 2.
Biden wants it shut- Europe wants it open.
Putin will continue to advance the truth that co-operation is progressive and NATO is the opposite.

Scholz and Putin will be discussing how to get the anti-Nord Stream mad-dog NATO drones off the case so that they can continue with the co-operation that the pipeline has promised.
If there is to be any ' false flag ' operation it won't be the Russians behind it.

Russian troops withdrawing from Ukraine border – Moscow
Forces have already begun preparing for withdrawal, the Ministry of Defense has announced

Russian troops have completed their training drills in Belarus, close to neighboring Ukraine, and will begin returning to their places of regular deployment, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow has announced amid fears in the West that the exercises could have been a precursor to an invasion.

So, Putin has a Zillion Troops on the Border with Ukraine to promote the NordStreram 2 pipeline in the Baltic?

"Nord Stream is an export gas pipeline running from Russia to Europe across the Baltic Sea. As it bypasses transit countries, Nord Stream provides Gazprom with direct access to European consumers. The pipeline ensures high reliability of Russian gas supplies to Europe."

So basically now even the Germans are pulling Bidens pants down and making a jackass out of him. Good on you Deutschland!

He's been announcing, publicly, that the US will not permit Nord Stream 2 to come online. The fact that it's German/Russian doesn't seem to have penetrated.

Scholz and Putin are currently holding a press conference and expounding upon their solid commercial ties and aspirations.
That's the way forward for Europe.
Ukraine is bathing in the limelight of its importance to NATO aggression. Cool heads will, it seems, prevail.

Incidentally- anybody still of the belief that Russia ' invaded and annexed Crimea ' should have a quick refresher on ' The Crimean War ', fought between Russia and British imperialists in the 19th c.

Insane. Biden seems to think he is also the President of Germany and Russia. Seems they have put him in his place so he can slink back into the shadows to lick his wounds. The fact that he tried his damndest to bring us to the brink of war should be remembered by all. Sadly, there is no doubt the American media will once again run cover for him.

Dont have time to look up at the moment......but....wasnt there a Nuclear arms deal signed back in the 90's by Clinton and Putin to reduce nukes with a big part of our concession being that we would cease and desist in trying to bring in any more of the ex soviet states into Nato? Almost positive there was. And people wonder why Putin is distrustful of our intentions???

I hope not. His decision to rob starving Afghan children of food and medicine is inexcusable.

I hope not.

You KNOW they will. There is good reason why people overwhelmingly think that our media is nothing more than political propaganda. People have no faith in it,......nor should they.

Not a whole lotta daylight between Germany and Biden

German chancellor warns of far-reaching sanctions if Russia moves on Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Monday, pledging solidarity with that country amid fears of a Russian invasion.

Speaking at a news conference with his counterpart, Scholz said Ukraine's sovereignty is non-negotiable, adding that he expects Russia to take clear steps to deescalate tensions.

Scholz also issued a threat of "far-reaching sanctions" if Moscow sends troops over the border. However, he didn't provide specific details on what those might be.

A tad late , eh- everybody else is going home.

Haw, haw...............................haw.

Right, I have posts from weeks ago saying that the odds Russia would launch a full scale invasion of Ukraine to be unlikely.

NATO is acting out of an abundance of caution, in my opinion.

Sidebar: I do not think Ukraine is a viable candidate for NATO membership, but they are entitled to their sovereignty.

Of course. A pro-Russian government at the ballot-box will solve the problems.

Can we assume that Europe can continue on its way without further interference, do you think ?

That's a possibility in a Democracy. Dictators like Putin kill or imprison their Opponents.
It's sad that you don't understand what is at stake here.

(Hint: It's NOT NordStream 2)
