"The First Amendment protects freedom of religion," spokesman Jim Manley said in a statement. "Sen. Reid respects that but thinks that the mosque should be built some place else.

I musta missed where Obama said the mosque should be built somewhere else....I thought the big O said it was OK to build it right where they are going to build it....

For three days, you have posted thread after thread, arguing in favor of this mosque, telling us all the wonderful things it would have in it, and it would be open to the public, and it wasn't a Trophy Mosque, or a symbol of Islamic conquest. You have used every ounce of energy you possess in your little pinhead pea brain, to denounce "the right" who, to my knowledge, has not taken any action to prevent the mosque from being built, and has admitted that they have the constitutional right to build it, they just disagree that we should support it, endorse it, or condone it, because it is in very poor taste, and is basically a trophy of conquest to radical Islamists. It is Big News because YOUR SIDE apparently thought this was a good mountain to die on! The rest of us have the sense God gave a billy goat, and don't think it's a good idea, nor should we support it.

Now that you're starting to realize the magnitude of the opposition to this thing, you are backpedaling like Micheal Phelps! That shows us where this blusterous talk of religious freedom principles rest with you, it mattered until the polling data came in!

Since just "speaking" on a matter doesn't mean that it's support, is really going to cramp the Liberals style of complaining; because unless someone in the opposition says the word "support", it won't mean anything.

We feel the same about you Nigel. This isn't about defending liberty and freedom of religion or the constitution. It's about our enemy building a Trophy Mosque at a site of military conquest on 9/11/01, and whether we have the courage to oppose it. Get it?

You didn't just simply say they had a right to build it Jarhead, that's what I said! I denounced it and opposed it, and said it was a deplorable idea that would end up bringing harm to innocent people, and you defended and endorsed it as a potential source of outreach. We have ALL agreed, they have the constitutional right to build it, that has never been in question. The question has always been, SHOULD they build it... and you thought they should! At least, until the poll numbers began coming in, now... you want to run over to the position the right has taken on this all along, and push the right into some kook fantasy you're having, where we're all planning to fly planes into the mosque as it's being built!

You're just fucking mentally unstable, man! You live in the vacuum of Pinhead Land, where you control all parameters! One day you're off on a tangent about something, the next day, you're contradicting yourself and demanding that people show you where you ever said what you just said!
