Jackie Norris is an at-large member of the Des Moines Public Schools school board in Iowa. She assumed office on November 16, 2021. Her current term ends in 2025.

Yeah, I misspoke. The claim by the right is that, as Chairman of the Board, she got this guy hired. I meant to point out that she was not Chairman at the time and was not instrumental in his hiring. That’s what the thread title insinuates, doesn’t it?

The point still stands. Right wing MAGATS using half truths and innuendo to promote their agenda, trying to associate Obama with his employment.

I would imagine that the entire board was involved so yes, she was instrumental...

All board members were a part of the decision...and all of them dropped the ball...Her name was most recognizable, so she got a mention...
